5/8″ Mesh Testing Sieve, 8″ Dia., 1″ Depth (Half), Brass Frame, SS Wire Cloth

The 19B457 is an 8″ (203.2mm) half height test sieve with a 5/8″ mesh. This sieve, or sifter, is constructed with a brass frame and stainless steel wire mesh cloth. Half height 8″ sieves have a 1″ depth to the wire cloth and are easily nestable. The 5/8″ mesh is a coarse size U.S. Standard mesh size with a 0.625 (16mm) nominal sieve opening with a typical wire diameter of 3.15mm. Die-formed frames assure a proper fit, superior quality and performance, guaranteeing that the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications are always met. ASTM E11 certified and made in the U.S.A.

Testing sieves are a cost-effective quality control product for particle size analysis.
