This heavy-duty silicone rubber heater band for metal pails features an adjustable thermostat up to 425° F (218° C). Designed for 5 gallon steel pails, this heater uses 240 volts to deliver 550 watts of power. This heater band provides practical, efficient means of freeze protection, viscosity control and maintenance of materials at elevated temperatures. The heating element is laminated between two thick layers of 20 mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber. Durable reinforced silicone rubber provides excellent strength and flexibility for long service life.
