This is a 1 HP explosion proof (X-Proof) motor drum pump with a 2″ Dia. x 40″ L 316 stainless steel tube and a max flow of 10.0 gpm and max viscosity of 800 cps. This 55 gallon drum pump is suitable for medium to high viscosity liquids up to 200° F and can handle many mild corrosives and flammables as well as some polymers, adhesives, oils, resins, etc. It is ideal for applications with require high head and can be used for some sanitary or pure applications. The max specific gravity of this sealed drum pump is 1.80.

X-Proof motors are explosion proof electric motors that are ideal for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids. Drum pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The 316 stainless steel tube is 40″ for use with 55 gallon drums other similar-sized containers. Stainless steel is ideal for flammables such as fuels and solvents compared to plastic alternatives. The discharge connection is larger than traditional drum pumps and is a 1.5″ hose barb for high viscosity liquids.
