38B755 is a 55 gallon drum tube mixer with an explosion proof (X-Proof) motor and 2″ Dia. x 40″ L stainless steel tube. Drum tube mixers are ideal for mild corrosives, solvents or flammables with a light to medium viscosity. This tube mixer can handle liquids with a max. viscosity of 1,000 cps and max specific gravity of 1.8 at temperatures up to 200° F (93° C).
Tube mixers are ideal for specific applications where mixing with no external moving parts is essential. This 4-blade drum turbine mixer offers non-aerating, non-vortexing circulation and can loosen and suspend bottom settlements. The explosion proof motor performance is reduced to 8 gpm in order to reduce static electricity during use for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids. This 55 gallon drum tube mixer has a graphite filled PTFE seal.
