No. 270 Mesh Testing Sieve, 12″ Dia., 1-5/8″ Depth (Half), Brass Frame, Brass Wire Cloth

The 19B273 is a 12″ (304.8mm) half height test sieve with a No. 270 mesh. This sieve, or sifter, is constructed with a brass frame and brass wire mesh cloth. Half height 12″ sieves have a 1-5/8″ depth to the wire cloth and are easily nestable. The No. 270 mesh is a fine size U.S. Standard mesh size with a 0.0021″ (53µm) nominal sieve opening with a typical wire diameter of 0.036mm. Die-formed frames assure a proper fit, superior quality and performance, guaranteeing that the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications are always met. ASTM E11 certified and made in the U.S.A.
