Tote Mixer, 1-1/2 HP TEFC Direct Drive, Bridge Mount, 36″ Shaft, 1725 RPM (Series 5109)

This is a bridge mount 1.5 HP totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) direct drive tote mixer with a .63″ Dia. x 36″ L mixing shaft (Series 5109). This durable mixer has dual 5″ blades and 1725 mixer shaft RPM. Series 5109 mixers are compatible with IBC totes that have a 6″ center cap as they feature collapsible turbines. These collapsible turbines allow for easy installation through small openings with the ability to agitate square or rectangular containers. The measured blade length is the blade’s diameter when extended during operation. This IBC tote mixer has a wide range of mixing applications in the paint, food and chemical industries and more.

Direct drive mixers run at high speed and use relatively small blades making them suitable for smaller batch sizes and lower viscosity products as the mixer shaft couples directly to the motor. The TEFC motor offers increased protection against dirt and moisture compared to open electric motors as it does not allow outside air to circulate freely throughout the interior of the motor. The fan aids in the cooling process to help ensure the motor does not overheat.

This IBC tote mixer has a 316 stainless steel construction on all wetted parts and the motor is coated with USDA approved stainless steel paint. Durable and versatile, the tote agitator can evenly blend and agitate liquids including some dyes, varnishes, compounds and more.
